After dialing my printer settings to the HTPLA filament requirements. This is one of the nicest printing and looking filaments I’ve purchased. I love that it’s a local business and very high quality.
Favorite filament so far. The sparkles and dark color create a lot of depth. Pretty for me and my daughter but manly enough for the husband. And of course easy to print with. Buying more.
I'm very picky about materials, I've been in the plastics industry for 20+ years now. Material makes the part, and I have to say ProtoPasta's material is some of the best PLA I've worked with. Oh and the color was fun too. ;)
I absolutely love Proto Pasta. Nothing prints like it. Smooth and beautiful. Anxious to see the monthly subscription.
I know I was involved with the making of this color and very picky about how it looked. I've heard good and bad experiences about this material, but it is still the BEST material to print with for me. Would literally print everything in this material and just about have done so. Having this at 220c and a steady 60mm/s seems to be the sweet spot for flow and shine. Keep in mind the length of your heat zone on your nozzle will affect printing. A longer heat zone definitely will help extrude faster and still look really CLEAN! This material takes a bit more heat to get going, so keep in mind to take it a little slower if your nozzle has a short heat zone. <3 And OMG the BRIDGES! This material rocks bridging and overhangs at the right temp.
