Appointments and Local Pickup

Hello local makers,

We understand the desire to stop by and pick up materials. We all love to geek out about 3D printing but please don't "drop by" without an appointment. We don't have a retail storefront so visits are by appointment only.

If you want to arrange local pickup, keep the following in mind:

1) You must first place an online order. Use the discount code LOCALPICKUP when ordering at Proto-pasta.com to indicate your desire to pick up your order.

2) Orders are processed at 8 AM. In stock items ordered after 8 AM are not packaged and prepared for shipment or pickup until the following business day.

3) The LOCALPICKUP discount code DOES NOT actually apply a discount and DOES NOT remove shipping charges. You must exceed the $49 minimum to avoid shipping charges. Shipping charges for orders with value less than $49 remain as a handling fee at our discretion to cover the additional work in accommodating local pickups.

4) After your LOCALPICKUP order is packaged and ready for pick up you'll receive an automated shipping notification. Your order is then ready for pick up between 11 AM - 2 PM Monday through Friday except holidays. If you are unable to pick up your order within 1 -2 business days please let us know.

5) The pick up location is the door at the west end of the building directly under the 12001-B building number, please do not go to the office door for pickup.

Note that orders shipped locally typically require only 1 day transit. Considering traffic and how valuable all of our time is, shipping is a quick and convenient solution for locals to get their pasta.
